Each BLACK BAG search follows the same process and takes 6 weeks to complete.
1. Development of a brief and position outline
This involves a face-to-face meeting (or when that's not possible, a meeting via web cam) to understand the position, the business issue your new hire will address and view recent creative work by the company. Subsequent to this meeting a brief is developed.

You meet the right talent sooner. You only interview talent that understands the position, your company, and most importantly, your expectations.
2. Research and Pre-Screening Talent
Our database retrieves the talent that meets your experience and salary requirements. This information is augmented by feedback from the community with respect to the specifics of the position.
Talent is contacted, an interview with BLACK BAG is scheduled, and talent is assessed based on their portfolio, their experience, and their fit with your corporate culture.
Benefit:
You only meet talent that has been pre-qualified for this position against your IMMEDIATE need not a potential future need.
3. Presentation of Talent to Your Company
The talent that BLACK BAG feels is appropriate for you to meet is discussed. BLACK BAG will present the short list of talent that meet your pre-defined criteria after a thorough search of the market place.
Interviews are scheduled by BLACK BAG.
Debriefs are handled with the talent on your behalf to keep everyone up-to-date on the progress of the search. Talent that is no longer under consideration after the initial interview are advised, and we share feedback from talent with you. All subsequent interviews are scheduled by BLACK BAG on behalf of the talent and the company.

This time consuming portion of the process is handled efficiently. All you need to do is show up. You are given immediate feedback on the impression your company is making on prospective hires.
People who have interviewed are treated in a professional, courteous and timely fashion on behalf of your company. This has a positive halo effect on the attractiveness of your brand to future talent.
4. Reference Checks
You have identified the person you want to hire.
At this point thorough reference checks are completed by BLACK BAG. References are measured against the same criteria as identified by you for this position. References are recorded verbatim, and contact names and numbers are provided should you wish to confirm the reference.

Effective time management and efficiency with the added assurance that you can confirm any point you may be unclear or uncomfortable with.
5. Negotiation
BLACK BAG will negotiate the offer on your behalf and on behalf of the talent.
BLACK BAG will present the offer on your behalf unless you prefer to present the offer yourself.
BLACK BAG will counsel the talent on how to effectively transition from their current position to their new role in your company.
Benefit:
Negotiation is the most emotionally charged part of any hiring process. One wrong word can mean the loss of the talent, and the time spent getting to this stage in the hiring process.
BLACK BAG acts as an intermediary to ensure a successful outcome for both parties.
6. Tidying Up
Once the search has been completed and an offer has been accepted, BLACK BAG will complete the following on your behalf:
- Letters sent on behalf of BLACK BAG and your company to thank all interviewed for their time.
- Letters sent on behalf of BLACK BAG and your company to thank all of those people who provided references.
- An announcement (if you desire and the talent agrees) to key industry publications and newspapers.

The hiring of new employees is a powerful public relations opportunity if handled professionally and in a timely fashion. It can also have a detrimental effect on your company's reputation if talent is not treated respectfully.
